Who can take part

  • You must have a confirmed biopsy diagnosis of chordoma or chondrosarcoma in the skull base
  • You must have signed the trial consent form
  • You need to be well enough to take part (Karnofsky performance score 70 or higher)
  • Your MRI must not show blocked or narrowed blood vessels (stenosis or atherosclerosis)
  • Your tumor volume must be 50 cc or less for the 5-session option, and the 25-session option requires being eligible after the screening scans
  • Your treatment plan must be able to protect key nearby structures (optic nerves/chiasm, brainstem, spinal cord, and some side-of-brain areas) with specific dose limits
