First-in-human capsule for advanced solid tumors

Solid Tumor, Adult

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This Phase 1 study tests a new oral capsule (TY-2699a) in people with advanced or metastatic solid tumors that have limited treatment options. It will look for the safest dose and whether the drug can shrink tumors, especially in certain genetic/biomarker patterns.

Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old and can sign the study consent form
  • You have an advanced or metastatic solid tumor and have tried the standard treatments (or can’t take them)
  • Your tumor tests show the needed biomarker pattern (RB-pathway changes, or specific tumor types like TNBC, ER+/HER2- breast cancer, ovarian, small cell lung, prostate, or KRAS-mutant pancreatic cancer)
  • You can swallow the capsule whole (no chewing or crushing)
  • Your body must be strong enough for treatment: ECOG 0–1, expected to live more than 3 months, and bloodwork/liver/kidney results meet study cutoffs
  • You recovered from side effects of prior cancer treatment to mild levels (about grade 1 or less) and you have at least one measurable tumor spot
