Who can take part
- Be between 38 and 56 weeks after due date (post-menstrual age)
- Your baby has been referred for an MBS (a swallow study with imaging) due to suspected swallowing trouble
- The swallow study must show at least one episode where food or liquid goes toward or into the airway (airway invasion)
- Your baby must be medically stable enough to safely complete the swallow study
- Your baby must be able to hold a side-lying or upright position for at least 3 minutes
