- In the past year, you drank alcohol above set daily amounts (women: over 20 g/day; men: over 30 g/day)
- You are being seen or hospitalized for assessment of alcoholic liver disease and alcohol addiction
- You can give informed consent to join the study
- You are covered by a social security system
- You have not taken antibiotics, probiotics, or prebiotics in the last 3 months
