Who can take part

  • Your child is between 0 and 12 months old
  • You can provide consent for your child to join the study
  • Your child has bronchiolitis symptoms (such as runny nose, persistent dry cough, wheezing/crackles, trouble breathing, or feeding trouble)
  • Your child has breathing signs like low oxygen (below 92%) or visible breathing effort (such as nasal flaring, pulling in the ribs, or grunting) OR needs help with feeding
  • Your child does not have cystic fibrosis or another serious lung condition present at birth
  • Your child has not been started on a short-acting “beta-2” medicine right away (because they plan to deliver the study treatment as a nebulized mist)
