Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Waldenström’s disease (meeting the study’s diagnostic standards).
  • Your medical team has follow-up information available until at least Jan 1, 2020.
  • You can be followed at least once per year until 2024 (as planned by your study center).
  • You must provide your written consent to join this study.
  • You do not have another long-term blood cancer besides Waldenström’s disease. (This includes careful checking for related conditions like certain lymphomas).

Rituximab plus VRD, then lenalidomide to treat Waldenstrom’s

This Phase 2 study tests a treatment plan that starts with rituximab plus VRD (bortezomib, and reduced-dose drugs in the VRD group), then uses lenalidomide for maintenance to help control Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia. It may help people who need treatment because their disease is measurable.
