It’s mainly for people who don’t have certain brain/mental health conditions and who are able to safely receive this type of stimulation.

Who can take part

  • You can give informed consent and follow study instructions
  • You are fluent in English
  • You have no past neurological or psychiatric diagnosis
  • You are not currently taking “psychotropic” (mental health/brain-acting) medications
  • You are not using substances or medicines that can interfere with the stimulation’s effect
  • You have no reasons you can’t receive tACS (for example: seizure history, metal implants in head/neck, implanted brain or nerve devices, or a pacemaker; and you are not pregnant)
