Who can take part
- You are a child between 3 and 17 years old
- The problem behavior happens at least 10 times per day, even after previous treatment
- The behavior seems to be maintained by getting something positive socially (like attention or access to items/activities)
- You have protective equipment in place for self-injury (like a helmet) that will not need to change during the study
- You are either on a stable behavior-related medication plan for long enough (at least 10 “half-lives” for each drug) or not taking psychoactive drugs
- Your school/learning plan and classroom placement will stay the same during the study
