Who can take part

  • You have PTSD diagnosed by a clinician and your PTSD symptom severity is high enough (CAPS-5 score at least 25).
  • You are living with HIV, confirmed from records or a study HIV test.
  • You are on mental health medicine that has been stable for at least 2 months and you can keep it steady during treatment.
  • You do not have psychosis or bipolar I (a specific type of severe mood disorder).
  • You are not dealing with active thoughts of suicide, a current substance use disorder, or severe confusion/intellectual disability.
  • You do not have unstable, serious health problems other than HIV that could interfere with participation.
