Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old and can give informed consent.
- You have non-small cell lung cancer that is local, locally advanced, or metastatic.
- You are scheduled for surgery to remove or biopsy at least one tumor or lymph node.
- The lesion to be sampled is large enough (about 10 mm or more in the specified direction).
- You are well enough to do study activities (ECOG 0–2), not needing intensive care-level support.
