Who can take part

  • The mother is being followed in the hospital’s postpartum clinic after delivery
  • The baby is fed breast milk (not unable to take breast milk)
  • The baby was born at 37 weeks or later and weighs at least 2,500 g, and has no congenital (born-with) disease
  • The mother has no health problems that would prevent breastfeeding
  • The mother and father live in the same home and can read/write well enough to do questionnaires
  • Both parents have a working phone and internet to read messages
