Who can take part
- You have colorectal or appendix cancer confirmed by a pathology test, and it is “initially resectable” (can potentially be removed with surgery).
- You have metastatic disease in the lining of the abdomen (peritoneal metastases) that shows on imaging or during a laparoscopy.
- You are age 18 or older, and you can have ctDNA testing along with chemotherapy before surgery.
- Your general health is good enough for treatment (ECOG performance status 0–1) and your key labs (blood counts, liver, and kidney function) meet the study thresholds.
- You are not currently pregnant and you agree to use reliable birth control during the study (and for a period after chemo ends for men).
- No major, unresolved side effects from prior cancer treatment (except hair loss).
