This trial studies whether adding camizestrant (a hormone-blocking medicine) after breast cancer surgery can lower the chance the cancer returns in ER+/HER2− early breast cancer. It is designed for people who have had definitive local treatment and are being considered for additional “prevention” hormone therapy.

Who can take part

  • Age 18 or older (any sex) and able to complete study visits
  • Have early invasive breast cancer that is ER-positive and HER2-negative, with no signs of spread to other organs
  • Have had the main tumor removed with surgery (with or without radiation) and possibly chemotherapy
  • Be within 12 months of definitive breast surgery, and you may have taken up to 12 weeks of endocrine (hormone) therapy before joining
  • Generally well enough to do daily activities (ECOG 0–1) and have adequate blood, organ, and bone marrow function
