Who can take part
- Confirmed diagnosis of ER-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer that cannot be surgically removed or cured with radiation
- Cancer has either spread to distant sites (stage 4) or come back after earlier treatment, but you have not yet received chemotherapy for this advanced disease
- If you received hormone therapy (endocrine therapy) before, at least 12 months must have passed since your last dose without your cancer worsening
- Good overall health and ability to perform daily activities with minimal limitations (ECOG score 0 or 1)
- Adequate kidney, liver, heart, and blood cell function
- If of childbearing potential, willingness to use effective birth control during and for 4 weeks after treatment
