Stopping long-term anti-HER2 therapy in stable metastatic breast cancer

Who can take part

  • You have HER2-positive metastatic (Stage IV) breast cancer.
  • Your scans show complete remission and are stable, including your bone scans, on recent CT/PET/PET-CT.
  • You have been on the same (or current) anti-HER2 treatment continuously for at least 36 months.
  • Your tumor tissue sample (biopsy) is available for study review.
  • Your blood test (Signatera) shows no ctDNA markers (ctDNA-negative).
  • You are willing to stop maintenance anti-HER2 treatment and return often for close monitoring.
