Who can take part
- You had early-stage HER2-positive or triple-negative breast cancer (confirmed by biopsy).
- You finished chemotherapy before surgery (neoadjuvant therapy) and had a complete response with no remaining invasive cancer in your breast or lymph nodes.
- You are willing to stop the targeted therapy (trastuzumab/pertuzumab for HER2+ or pembrolizumab for triple-negative) that you would normally take after surgery.
- You have not already received more than 3 cycles of these post-surgery targeted therapies.
- You are age 18 or older and medically stable enough to participate (including adequate blood counts and organ function).
- You have a stored sample of your original diagnostic tumor tissue available for testing.
