Spatial Neglect After Right Brain Stroke

This study tests whether prism adaptation therapy (wearing special glasses that shift how you see) can help improve attention and function after a right-brain stroke. You may be eligible if you recently had a first right-brain stroke and can sit up to take part in the therapy.

Who can take part

  • You had a first stroke on the right side of your brain
  • It has been between 1 and 4 months since your stroke
  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are able to sit up, see out of both eyes, and point to objects
  • You do not have other serious brain or nerve conditions like multiple sclerosis or Alzheimer's disease
  • You have not had a stroke on the left side of your brain
