Who can take part
- You have a cancer of the pancreas, bile duct, duodenum, or ampulla that cannot be removed by surgery
- You have abnormal liver tests that need an ERCP procedure, but you do not have a blocked stomach (you can eat solid foods)
- You are generally active (able to do light work or be up and about)
- You do not have severe bleeding problems or very low platelets
- You have not had surgery that changed your stomach or food pipe, and you do not have widespread cancer in the abdomen or large amounts of fluid in your belly
