Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 85 years old
- You have symptoms of a blocked eustachian tube, with a tube function score of 7 or less
- You have tried medical treatments (such as for allergies or acid reflux) with a pressure equalization device for at least one month without success
- You are in good general health (classified as ASA 1 or 2)
- You do not have a history of prior eustachian tube dilation, middle ear surgery (except tube placement), or radiation to the face
- You do not have a serious medical condition that makes general anesthesia risky
