Who can take part

  • You are between 12 and 64 years old.
  • You have severe alopecia areata with at least 50% hair loss on your scalp.
  • Your hair loss has not shown any signs of regrowing on its own in the last 6 months.
  • Your current episode of alopecia areata started less than 8 years ago.
  • You do not have other types of hair loss or scalp conditions that could interfere with the study.
