Who can take part
- You are a caregiver who regularly helps an adult with a physical disability move (transfer).
- You have been a caregiver for at least 3 months.
- You have never had formal training on assisted transfer techniques as part of a professional degree or program.
- You are a care recipient who has had a physical disability for at least 1 year.
- You need help with transfers and receive that help from an informal caregiver (like a family member or friend).
- You have not had a back, neck, or other musculoskeletal injury in the last 6 months (for caregivers), or pressure ulcers within 3 months or upper extremity injury within 6 months (for care recipients).
