Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 12 and 17 years old.
  • A doctor or nurse in your child's primary care clinic has identified your child as at risk for suicide.
  • Your child gets primary care at one of the 14 participating clinics.
  • You and your child must speak English well enough to understand the study procedures.
  • Your family has a permanent home and a working phone number.
