Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must belong to one of these groups: being treated for complex hypertension, scheduled for an angiogram, willing to have a cardiac MRI, or willing to be a healthy volunteer.
  • If you have high blood pressure, your arm must be able to have blood pressure taken with a stethoscope.
  • If you are having an angiogram, the artery in your right arm must be accessible.
  • You cannot have certain medical conditions that would make the tests unsafe or inaccurate.
  • You must be able to give consent.
