Who can take part

  • You have a meniscus tear that your doctor plans to repair with surgery alone.
  • You are not having any other ligament, cartilage, or bone surgery at the same time.
  • You do not have a specific type of meniscus tear called a 'bucket-handle' tear that requires repositioning.
  • You do not have a blood-borne disease such as HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or syphilis.
