Amino acid supplement study for broken hip in older adults
Part of Brain & nervous system, Injuries & trauma clinical trials.
This study tests whether giving extra essential amino acids (building blocks of protein) to older adults hospitalized with a broken femur (thigh bone) can improve their recovery. If you are 65 or older, broke your femur from a simple fall, and are having surgery to fix it, you may be able to join.
