- You are 18 years or older
- You have symptoms that suggest you might have a bile duct stone (such as jaundice, dark urine, or abdominal pain)
- Your doctor has classified your risk as 'intermediate' for having a bile duct stone
- You are scheduled to have an endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) or MRCP to check for bile duct stones
- You do not have other pancreatic or bile duct diseases like chronic pancreatitis, narrowing, or cancer
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
