  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have an intermediate chance of having a bile duct stone (as determined by your doctor using standard guidelines)
  • You are scheduled to have either an EUS or an MRCP to check for the stone
  • You are not at a high or low risk for a bile duct stone
  • You are not going to have both EUS and MRCP at the same time
  • You have no medical reason that would make EUS or MRCP unsafe for you
