Who can take part

  • You have prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body and is no longer responding to hormone therapy.
  • You have had at least one hormone-blocking treatment for advanced prostate cancer, but it stopped working.
  • Your PSA level is 2 ng/mL or higher.
  • You are able to take care of daily activities (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You do not have cancer that has spread to the brain.
  • You do not have serious heart problems or other major medical conditions.
