Pulmonary rehab for kids with primary immunodeficiency

This study tests whether a pulmonary rehabilitation program helps children aged 6–18 with primary immunodeficiency improve their breathing and physical fitness. If your child has this condition and is not currently having a lung infection or other serious health issues, they may be able to join.

Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 6 and 18 years old.
  • Your child must have a diagnosis of primary immunodeficiency.
  • Your child must not have a current lung infection or worsening breathing problems.
  • Your child must not have other serious diseases that affect their physical abilities, like neurological or muscle problems.
  • Your child must not have participated in a structured exercise program in the last 3 months.
  • Your child must be able to understand and follow exercise instructions (no significant cognitive impairment).
