PSMA PET scan before standard therapy for advanced prostate cancer

This trial will test if a special PET scan (18F-DCFPyL) can help doctors plan your treatment with a radioactive medicine called 177Lu-vipivotide tetraxetan. You are eligible if you already qualify for that standard therapy and have had a prior PSMA PET scan showing at least one active cancer site.

Who can take part
- You have prostate cancer that has spread and is no longer responding to hormone therapy (called mCRPC).
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have already been scheduled to receive standard treatment with 177Lu-vipivotide tetraxetan.
- You have had a PSMA PET scan (using a different tracer) in the last 120 days that showed at least one area of cancer activity.
- If you can become pregnant or get someone pregnant, you must use effective birth control starting before the study scan and for 24 hours after it.
