Who can take part
- You are between 40 and 75 years old.
- You have a confirmed diagnosis of COPD with moderate-to-severe airflow limitation (FEV1 between 30% and 70% of normal).
- You have smoked for 10 pack-years or more (e.g., 1 pack a day for 10 years).
- You are limited by breathlessness during daily activities (score of 2 or higher on the mMRC scale).
- You do not have asthma or a history of asthma, and have not had a COPD flare-up or respiratory infection in the last 6 weeks (2 months if hospitalized).
- You have no serious heart conditions, other lung diseases, or other health issues that would make the study unsafe for you.
