  • Your child has symptoms like a cough, fever, or trouble breathing and doctors suspect TB.
  • Your child has not been treated for TB in the past year.
  • Your child is not currently taking medicine to prevent TB.
  • Your child weighs more than 2.5 kilograms (about 5.5 pounds).
  • Your child is medically stable and does not have a positive COVID-19 test.
