Who can take part

  • Men between 18 and 70 years old
  • You had surgery to remove lower or middle rectal cancer after radiation, and your surgeon was able to spare the nerves important for erections
  • You had normal erectile function before surgery (score of at least 22 on a standard erectile function questionnaire)
  • You were sexually active and not taking any medication for erectile function before surgery
  • You have a regular sexual partner (male or female)
