This trial tests different amounts of early physical therapy for patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). The goal is to find out how much rehabilitation is best for recovery.
This study looks at how different settings on the breathing machine (ventilator) are used for critically ill adults in the ICU. It may help doctors improve care for people who need a breathing tube.
This trial tests whether special breathing exercises can help patients who have been on a breathing machine (ventilator) in the ICU for at least 3 days get off the machine more successfully. The exercises focus on strengthening the muscles you use to breathe in.
This study tests a special breathing therapy for intensive care patients who are having trouble coming off the ventilator. If you have weak muscles or a weak cough, the therapy aims to strengthen your breathing so you can recover faster.
