Who can take part
- You must have a confirmed diagnosis of Crohn's disease.
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have active Crohn's symptoms (like stomach pain, diarrhea) or a high level of inflammation in your stool (calprotectin > 150).
- You are not on any Crohn's treatment, or you have been on a stable dose of your current medicine for at least the required time (e.g., 6 weeks for mesalamine, 2 weeks for steroids or cannabis, 12 weeks for immunomodulators or biologics).
- Your body mass index (BMI) must be under 30, and you must not have a current infection, pregnancy, serious chronic illness (like cancer, organ failure), or certain complications (like abscesses or fistulas).
