Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have cirrhosis (advanced scarring) of the liver, confirmed by a biopsy, a fibroscan (a special ultrasound), or other imaging tests.
  • You cannot have cancer that has spread to your liver at the start of the study.
  • You cannot have already received a liver transplant.
