Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 39 years old.
  • This is your first or second time trying IVF or ICSI.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is under 35.
  • Your anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) level is between 1 and 5 ng/mL, or your antral follicle count is between 8 and 39 (based on tests within the last year).
  • You are using a specific type of medication (recombinant FSH) and following an antagonist protocol.
  • You do not have HIV, need sperm from a testicular biopsy, or plan to use preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).
