Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- Your BMI is between 30 and 35 with a related health issue like diabetes or sleep apnea, or your BMI is over 35 but you cannot have bariatric surgery
- You have not been able to lose enough weight with usual methods like diet and exercise
- You are part of a health insurance plan (Social Security in France)
- You have not taken antibiotics in the last 3 months
- You have not had any previous weight loss surgery
