This study looks at how beekeepers develop tolerance to bee venom over time, comparing people who are new to beekeeping, experienced beekeepers without allergies, and beekeepers who have had a recent allergic reaction. If you fall into one of these groups, you may be able to join and help researchers understand how the immune system adapts to bee stings.

Who can take part
- You have never had a severe allergic reaction to bee stings and are new to beekeeping (less than 2 stings total, none in the last 2 years).
- You are a beekeeper who gets stung more than 10 times a year and has been beekeeping for more than 3 years, without ever having a severe allergic reaction.
- You are a beekeeper who had a severe allergic reaction to bee venom in the last year, and tests confirm you are allergic to bee venom.
- You do not have a condition called mastocytosis (or are being tested for it).
- You are not currently receiving allergy shots (desensitization) for bee venom.
- You are not taking medicines that weaken your immune system.
