Who can take part

  • You have or are suspected to have rickettsiosis (a tick infection).
  • You have been bitten by a tick and have had a fever of at least 99°F (37.2°C) for more than 2 days.
  • You are willing to sign a consent form (or have a legal guardian sign for you).
  • You can be any age, including children.
