This trial tests if a shorter MRI scan can effectively monitor liver cancer after a procedure called TACE. If you've had TACE for liver cancer and have good liver function, you may be able to join.

Who can take part

  • You've had a procedure called TACE for liver cancer that couldn't be removed surgically
  • You are between 20 and 85 years old
  • Your main liver blood vessel is open (no blockage) based on an ultrasound
  • You have no fluid buildup in your belly (ascites)
  • Your liver function is satisfactory (your doctor can confirm this)
  • Your kidney function is good (a blood test shows eGFR of 60 or higher)
  • You have no history of severe allergic reaction to contrast dye (used for some scans)
  • You are not claustrophobic, don't have a cochlear implant or a cardiac pacemaker
