Who can take part

  • You’re at least 18 years old.
  • You’ve been enrolled in a liver cancer screening program for at least 6 months at a specialized liver (hepatology) clinic.
  • You have cirrhosis confirmed or strongly suggested by tests, and your liver ultrasound can be done (the liver area is viewable).
  • Your liver function is in Child-Pugh A or B (not C).
  • You have no liver cancer on a recent scan (within about 3 months), and your estimated yearly liver cancer risk is above 3%.
