This study uses a special type of scan called PET/MRI to look for areas in the body that may be causing ongoing pain after joint replacement or arthroscopy. It aims to better understand why some people have pain that lasts months after surgery.

Who can take part
- You are 18 to 85 years old.
- You have had joint replacement or arthroscopy surgery.
- You have pain that is at least a 4 out of 10 and has lasted for 6 months or more after surgery.
- You are willing and able to have a PET/MRI scan (and a PET/CT scan if you had joint replacement).
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You do not have a current cancer diagnosis or other serious health conditions like advanced heart, lung, liver, or kidney disease.
