  • You are 18 to 80 years old
  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (intermediate, reversed, or generalized form)
  • You are not taking anti-inflammatory or immune-suppressing medications within the last month
  • You are willing to have a skin biopsy
  • You do not have any other serious inflammatory disease
