This trial tests a new imaging technique (18F-FES PET/CT) along with blood markers to guide treatment for metastatic breast cancer that is ER-positive and HER2-negative. It's for people whose cancer progressed on first-line hormone therapy and who are starting a second line of hormone therapy.

Who can take part
- You have metastatic breast cancer that is ER-positive (≥10% of cells) and HER2-negative.
- You have been on first-line hormone therapy with an aromatase inhibitor and a CDK4/6 inhibitor, and your cancer progressed after at least 6 months.
- You are eligible for a second course of hormone therapy (as decided by your doctor).
- You have not had any chemotherapy for metastatic disease, and you have not taken drugs like fulvestrant or experimental SERDs.
- You have a life expectancy of more than 3 months, are in fairly good health (ECOG 0-2), and have a tumor sample available for testing.
