Who can take part
- You have advanced breast cancer, meaning stage 3 or 4.
- You are 18 years or older.
- Your breast cancer is ER-positive (estrogen receptor positive), with at least 10% of tumor cells showing ER.
- You are not pregnant or nursing, and can lie still for a 30-minute PET/CT scan.
- If you are taking certain hormone therapies that block estrogen (like Tamoxifen or Fulvestrant), you must stop them for 8 weeks before the scan.
