Who can take part

  • You must be 50 years old or older.
  • You must be the main family caregiver for someone with a brain disease that gets worse over time, like Parkinson's, ALS, or dementia.
  • You must be comfortable speaking and understanding English in a group setting.
  • You cannot currently practice mindfulness or meditation on a regular basis.
  • You must not have post-traumatic stress disorder, a substance use problem, or a psychotic illness like schizophrenia.
  • You need a computer or tablet with high-speed internet and be able to attend 8 sessions online.
