Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are getting a kidney transplant at the University of Illinois (UI Health).
  • You do not have a history of colon cancer or inflammatory bowel disease (like Crohn's or ulcerative colitis).
  • You have not had a C. diff infection in the last 8 weeks.
  • You are not getting a multiorgan transplant (like kidney and pancreas at the same time).
