- Your child was between 0 and 2 years old and died suddenly and unexpectedly
- Your child's death is recorded in the French SUDI (sudden unexpected death in infant) national registry, and their tissue samples are stored in the study's biobank
- Both biological parents are willing to give a blood sample and sign a consent form
- Neither your child nor either biological parent had a known genetic, metabolic, or syndromic condition at the time of death
