This trial tests a new drug, IAP0971, given together with the standard BCG treatment for people with a high-risk type of bladder cancer that hasn't spread into the muscle. It's for patients who have already tried BCG and it didn't work well enough, and who either cannot have or choose not to have their bladder removed.

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You have a high-risk form of bladder cancer that is only in the inner lining of the bladder (not in the muscle).
  • You have already received BCG treatment for your bladder cancer and it stopped working or the cancer came back.
  • You are not able to have surgery to remove your bladder, or you decide not to have that surgery.
  • You are in generally good health, with a performance status of 0 or 1 on a scale that measures daily activity.
  • Your major organs (like your kidneys, liver, and blood cell counts) must be working well enough based on blood tests.
